Dalian's Café is the culmination of a lifelong passion for coffee, design, and community, brought to life by a founder with a truly global journey. Dali, whose nickname comes from the surname BaDalian, is the creative force behind Dalian's Café. After years of living in Armenia, Russia, Slovakia, Malta, Italy, New York, and now Los Angeles, Dali's vision was shaped by diverse cultures and the elegance of European coffee traditions.
With a background in hospitality and UI/UX design, Dali spent years honing a deep understanding of customer experience. His career began at Segafredo Zanetti, an iconic Italian coffee shop franchise, where he quickly rose from waiter to branch manager. Later, Dali managed Coffeeshop Company, an Austrian coffee franchise in Vienna, further fueling his dream of creating his own space.
"We want to build a place where the traditions of European coffee culture meet the energy and creativity of downtown Los Angeles."
— Dali, Founder
In October 2024, that dream became a reality with the opening of Dalian's Café in downtown Los Angeles. Every cup and every bite are crafted to provide the best customer experience, blending European traditions with a modern LA vibe — and Dali's brother has been a steadfast partner throughout the journey, from planning to execution.
